BOURBON announces a major strengthening of its fleet with the addition of 13 new offshore support vessels since the beginning of 2026, representing a value of over USD 180 million.

Odfjell announces that it has signed agreements to purchase four 40,000 dwt fully stainless-steel vessels to be built at Kitanihon Shipbuilding in Japan.

The LNG spot market saw a quiet week, with limited activity particularly at the start of the week. Overall, the market appears relatively balanced between available cargoes and open tonnage, resulting in sideways trading across most routes.

The TC1 75kt MEG/Japan index held in the mid to high WS120’s this week. A voyage west also saw the TC20 90kt MEG/UK-Continent index climb to $10.78 million (+$250,000).

The market began the week with strong upward momentum, briefly pushing the BCI 182 5TC to the cusp of $39,000, supported primarily by strength in the Atlantic basin.
