PANOS ZACHARIADIS

Panos Zachariadis is a Mechanical Engineer (BSc) and Naval Architect and Marine Engineer (MSE) from the University of Michigan with a 38-year experience in shipping.
He has served for years as Marine Superintendent in New York, after periods of shipbuilding supervision in Japan and sea service in bulk carriers and oil tankers.
He is Technical Director of Atlantic Bulk Carriers since 1997 and a member of the Greek Delegation to IMO since 2004, having contributed to the development of several well-known regulations (e.g. GBS, PSPC, FSA) and the prevention of others (e.g. double hull bulk carriers).

Η Ιωάννα Τοπάλογλου ξεκίνησε την καριέρα της στην Ναυτιλία το 1970 και έχει βιώσει όλα αυτά τα χρόνια την Ναυτιλία από την πλευρά της ασφάλισης, την πλευρά της πλοιοκτησίας και την πλευρά του broker.
Έχει διατελέσει Γενική Διευθύντρια της Allied Insurance Brokers στον Πειραιά για σχεδόν 20 χρόνια και κατόπιν ίδρυσε την Orion International Brokers and Consultants Ltd. το 2009.
Η Orion ασχολείται με Marine Insurance και συνεργάζεται με όλους τους μεγάλους διεθνείς ασφαλιστικούς οργανισμούς παγκοσμίως.

Maria Angelidou has been involved in the shipping sector for the last 26 years. She holds a Shipping Agency Diploma, as well as a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Seattle and is currently an MBA Candidate at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She is member of many shipping associations, including WISTA (Women in Shipping & Trade Association) Hellas, for which she has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the past four years. In addition to her native Greek, she also speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
