BYD Shenzhen is environmentally sustainable and boasts LNG dual-fuel technology, enabling it to operate on LNG and also marine fuel.

It also has energy-saving features and BYD box stationary batteries for storage to power the ship while it is docking or to be used in low-emission zones, further decreasing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
