Maran Tankers Management is proud to announce the addition of its newest DF Suezmax tanker – Maran Morpheus, marking another important milestone in the Angelicoussis Group’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality shipping services safely, efficiently, and responsibly.

The new 155,500 DWT Suezmax vessel, built at New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (NTS), represents the latest generation of tanker design, combining advanced engineering solutions with a strong focus on energy efficiency and environmental performance.

Designed for optimised operational performance, the vessel is equipped with a dual-fuel main engine, enabling operation on both LNG and conventional fuels, significantly reducing emissions. The integration of a shaft generator allows efficient onboard power generation directly from the main engine, minimising auxiliary engine consumption. In combination with an optimised hull form and advanced energy-saving devices, the design achieves improved propulsion efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.
