We are pleased this week to announce the delivery of our new LNG carrier, the Maran Gas Nice, to our expanding Maran Gas Maritime fleet at the Angelicoussis Group.

On Wednesday, 27 August, Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) successfully delivered the MG Nice to Maran Gas Maritime. The Bureau Veritas classed vessel is part of a larger order placed by our Group with SHI that includes four dual-fuel LNG VLCCs and three LNG carriers. The Maran Gas Nice will be on long-term charter to TotalEnergies.

The Maran Gas Nice encompasses the highest design and construction standards with outstanding operational performance, eco-friendly design and state-of-the-art innovations, including an efficient hull form, air lubrication system, shaft generators, and propulsion engines of the latest generation with the highest efficiency and reduced methane slip.

This delivery affirms the Angelicoussis Group’s commitment to continue providing best-in-class services to customers around the world while adopting the most advanced and effective solutions for our lower-carbon fleet.
