Castor Maritime Inc., a diversified global shipping and energy company, announces that it has entered into an agreement, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, to acquire a 2023-built modern-eco Kamsarmax bulk carrier vessel from an unaffiliated third party for a purchase price of $37.5 million.

The acquisition is expected to be concluded by taking delivery of the vessel by the end of the quarter and is subject to the satisfaction of certain customary closing conditions. The Company expects to fund the acquisition with cash on hand.
