Global Ship Lease, Inc. (NYSE:GSL) (the “Company”, “Global Ship Lease” or “GSL”), a containership owner and lessor, issued the following statement in response to the Implementation Measures on the Special Port Charges for U.S. Vessels issued by the Ministry of Transport of China:
