Η Κίνα έχει συνάψει μία μακροπρόθεσμη συμφωνία, η οποία είναι και η μεγαλύτερη, για την εισαγωγή αμερικανικού LNG, το οποίο θα προμηθεύεται από δύο τερματικούς σταθμούς στην Λουιζιάνα που είναι υπό την διαχείριση της Venture Global.
