Dajin Shipbuilding launched a 40,000 DWT deck carrier
On April 19, 2026, the 40,000 DWT deck carrier KING TWO was successfully launched at Dajin Panjin shipbuilding facility. This is the second large-scale deck carrier launched at the facility, following KING ONE, which has already completed its maiden voyage - fully validating the vessel’s seaworthiness and reliability.
Key Specifications:
Length: 239.8m | Breadth: 51m | Depth: 13m
Deck Area: 12,000 m²
Deadweight: 40,000 tons
Design Features: Dual engines with dual propellers
Performance: Speed of 13 knots | Range of 16,000 nautical miles
The vessel is flexibly adaptable to overseas transportation requirements for 15MW-25MW WTG monopiles, Jackets, floating foundations, and large-scale offshore engineering modules.
As one of Dajin’s three major offshore manufacturing facilities around the Bohai Bay, Panjin shipbuilding facility specializes in high-value-added products. Its product portfolio primarily includes large deck carriers, semi-submersible vessels, and heavy-lift vessels. Following KING TWO, the third KING-series vessel will launch in May 2026, with both ships entering service within the year.
As KING TWO and its following vessels enter service, Dajin will strengthen its one-stop service capability — including "manufacturing + transportation + marshaling + installation" — marking a key milestone in its transformation from an equipment manufacturer to a full EPCI provider.
