Ενημερώθηκε η Λιμενική Αρχή της Θεσσαλονίκης από ναυτικό πράκτορα ότι ένας 47χρονος αλλοδαπός (υπήκοος Φιλιππίνων) μέλος πληρώματος (ναύτης) ενός φορτηγού πλοίου (Φ/Γ) σημαίας Ολλανδίας προέβη σε απειλή με χρήση μαχαιριού εναντίον έτερου μέλους πληρώματος του πλοίου.

Το οχηματαγωγό Virgo Transport No.8 (IMO: 8625179) στις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου αντιμετώπισε βλάβη στις επικοινωνίες και απώλεσε την επαφή στην Θάλασσα της Ιάβας σε απόσταση περίπου 148 χιλιομέτρων (92 μιλίων) από την προβλήτα στο Banjarmasin της Ινδονησίας.
